Privacy & Data Use

This page explains how the current Bidet AI web, Windows, and Android surfaces handle voice, text, API keys, recovery files, and provider requests. Bidet AI is developed by Breezy Farms LLC in Georgia, United States.

The short version: Bidet AI keeps work on your device whenever the selected workflow is local. Text or audio leaves your device only when you use browser speech services, hosted transcription or cleanup, a cloud provider you selected, or a Share/Email action. Bidet AI does not sell personal data.

Public Web Demo

No login or Bidet AI account is required, and the public demo does not create Bidet AI saved history.
Live browser dictation uses the speech capability supplied by your browser or operating system. That vendor may process audio under its own terms.
Hosted Clean sends the submitted draft through a Cloudflare Pages Function to Bidet AI's Google Cloud Run service and Google Vertex AI/Gemini for that request.
Web Walk records audio in the page, then sends the recording through the same hosted path for transcription after you stop. The current upload limit is 24 MB.
The Bidet web service does not intentionally persist submitted text or audio. Application logs are designed to contain operational metadata such as size, result, latency, and rate-limit counts—not transcript text or audio. Standard hosting/security logs and the AI provider may process request metadata under their own policies.

BYOK Web App

Gemini BYOK cleanup sends the text directly from your browser to Google's Gemini API using the key you enter.
Your key remains in page memory unless you choose Remember key; that choice stores it in this browser's localStorage. Bidet AI does not receive the key during direct BYOK cleanup.
Draft recovery is stored in this browser. History is stored locally only when you enable it. Use Clear draft, Clear history, or your browser's site-data controls to delete it.
If you switch to Hosted cleanup, the submitted text uses the public hosted path described above. Web Walk transcription also uses the hosted path.

Windows Desktop Beta

Speech-to-text runs locally with faster-whisper. Raw/clean output, approved learning examples, history, recovery drafts, and any saved audio remain in the user's local Bidet data folder.
The built-in deterministic cleaner and supported local-model lane can run without sending text to a cloud provider. If you choose OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or another configured cloud cleanup provider, the text needed for that cleanup is sent to that provider.
Provider keys are stored through Windows Credential Manager. The app has no Bidet account requirement and no product telemetry.
Local history and recovery material remain until the user deletes them from the app/data folder or removes the local data during uninstall/cleanup.

Android: Bidet AI and Magic Bidet AI

Bidet AI, the public/Play candidate, is an input-method keyboard. It requires microphone and notification access and does not contain the floating overlay or an Accessibility service.
Magic Bidet AI is a separate personal sideload companion. Its optional Accessibility service supports the floating microphone, editable-target insertion, and verified Send Assist. It is not part of the Play build.
Recordings and transcript drafts are written to app-private Android storage so interrupted work can be recovered. Completed audio is pruned oldest-first after the stored transcribed-audio total reaches its cap; unfinished recovery audio is preserved until it is recovered, dismissed, or app data is removed.
With on-device transcription, audio stays on the phone. With cloud transcription, the necessary audio is sent to the selected Gemini or Groq service. Optional cleanup can send the transcript and relevant field context to the selected Gemini, Groq, or OpenAI service.
Android provider keys are encrypted in app-private storage. The two signed Bidet apps can copy settings only through an explicit, same-signature transfer.

Sharing, Security, and Provider Policies

Copy, Share, Email, and Download actions are user-directed. Once content is sent to another app, person, or provider, that destination's terms apply. Bidet AI uses HTTPS for hosted requests and limits public request size and frequency, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Relevant third parties can include Cloudflare, Google Cloud/Vertex AI, Google Gemini, Groq, OpenAI, Anthropic, and the speech service supplied by your browser or operating system, depending on the lane you select.

Deletion and Questions

Current Bidet AI surfaces do not create a central user account. Delete browser data with the in-app clear controls or browser site-data settings; delete Windows data from the local Bidet data folder; and delete Android recordings with the app's recovery/history controls or by clearing/uninstalling the app. For help with a privacy request or a question about a specific provider path, email [email protected].
