Supervised preview, not a dependable general release. The downloads below are the August preview, not the newer private test builds. Automated checks passed before packaging; friend-device, recovery and real-app acceptance remain incomplete. Android APKs are signed. Windows executables are unsigned. Start with a scratch note, not irreplaceable work.

Voice keyboard, long-form Walk-and-Talk, recoverable recordings, and optional spoken Send. No ADB, Codex, or Bidet AI account is required for the normal setup.
Download version: Voice 0.1.43 / build 44 and Send Assist 0.1.43-personal / build 44. Published August 19, 2026.
- Install Voice. If Android blocks it, allow this browser or Files to install unknown apps, then retry.
- Open Bidet AI. Allow microphone and notifications, add the Bidet AI keyboard, and select it.
- Add your own Gemini key. A key connects Voice to your transcription provider; it is not a Bidet AI account. Create a Gemini API key, then open Advanced in Bidet AI, select Gemini for transcription, paste the key, and save. Provider availability, quotas and charges depend on your Google account. Never share your key.
- Optional: enable spoken Send. Install Send Assist only if you want this feature. Open its App info, choose the three-dot menu and Allow restricted settings, then enable Magic Bidet AI / Send Assist under Accessibility. Accessibility is a broad permission that can read on-screen content and interact with other apps; Android does not restrict it to the moment you say Send. Grant it only if you trust this companion. You can disable it later in Accessibility.
- Test in a scratch note. Hold the keyboard microphone, say a short sentence, and release. Check the inserted text. For a test chat with Send Assist enabled, pause, say a clear final “send,” and release. Confirm it sends exactly once. Keep important recordings elsewhere until your device passes these checks.
What leaves the phone?
Android transcription sends recorded audio to the provider attached to your own key. Bidet AI keeps recovery material locally so a failed transcription does not have to erase the recording. There is no Bidet AI account or friends-preview telemetry.
Local speech-to-text with Right Alt, advanced clean-up on Left Alt, optional Mouse Mode, local history, and explicit spoken Send.

- Unzip the package. Do not run it from inside the ZIP.
- Start with hotkeys. Double-click
Start-BidetAI-Hotkeys.cmd. The first launch may take a minute while the local speech model prepares.
- Use Right Alt. Hold it, talk, and release to insert. Start in Notepad or a scratch chat before using important work.
- Use the microphone Windows calls default. Bidet AI checks that device at each capture. If you unplug a headset, let Windows switch back to the laptop microphone and try again—no Bidet AI mic setting should be required.
- Optional: set up Mouse Mode. For this preview, close the hotkey launcher, then run
Start-BidetAI-Mouse-Mode.cmd. In your mouse's own configuration software, assign a spare button to Ctrl+Shift+F12. Leave the computer-switch button unchanged. No programmable mouse? Use that keyboard shortcut.
- Mouse Mode is a toggle, not hold-to-talk. Click inside the intended text box first. Press your mapped button once to start; wait for the recording indicator and live words. Talk, then pause and say a clear final “send” when you want to submit. Use the mapped button to stop listening. Confirm the correct app received the text and only one message was sent.
Unsigned Windows preview. These executables do not have a digital publisher signature, so Windows may warn or block them. A matching SHA-256 checksum verifies the downloaded file matches this release; it does not establish publisher identity or guarantee safety. Do not disable Windows Security. If you are unsure, stop and ask for help.
What leaves the computer?
Desktop speech-to-text runs locally. Optional cleanup can use a configured cloud provider; local history and recovery remain on the computer.

This website refresh corrects signing information, explains hold-to-talk versus Mouse Mode, and improves web cleanup and recovery behavior. It does not replace the August app downloads.
Newer builds are in testing, not linked above
Android Voice 0.1.46 / build 47 has passed initial short and longer real-app trials. The September 5 Desktop candidate has passed automated checks and an initial Mouse Mode trial. Repeated use, fresh-device setup, recovery and target-switching checks are still required before promotion. These limited results are not a general reliability guarantee.
Before sharing: test a fresh launch, short and long dictation, exactly-once Send, microphone switching where applicable, and failed-transcription recovery. Avoid important unsaved work while any check remains uncertain. Download version and checksum manifest.
If something fights back
Fast fixes
Android says the app is blocked
Open the prompt’s settings and allow installs from the browser or Files app you used, then return to the APK. This is a per-source permission; you do not need ADB.
Android blocks Accessibility
Open App info for Magic Bidet AI, use the three-dot menu to allow restricted settings, then return to Accessibility and enable Send Assist.
Android transcription says unauthorized or 401
The provider rejected that key. Create a fresh Gemini key, replace only the Gemini transcription key in Advanced, save, and test again.
Right Alt does nothing
Confirm the ZIP is extracted, only one Bidet AI launcher is open, and Windows has a working default microphone. Close conflicting dictation/hotkey tools. An elevated target app may require Bidet AI to run at the same elevation.
ADB is a repair fallback, not onboarding. If a particular phone behaves differently, Mark can help after the normal steps fail.
